This makes no sense

Okay, I have AT&T U-Verse, I have the full sports package, finally moved to Los Angeles, and can get to see my Lakers games because Im in the viewing area. Now, Im trying to use the app when Im still in the viewing area and it says Im not authorized. Heres the kicker, I dont watch Spectrum Deportes, but I can access the live TV stream via their app. What is up with that? Please fix this. Ive seen a few reviews from other AT&T U-Verse having this issue. I hope this gets resolved soon.
